REGISTRATION FEES / DEADLINE DATES 2024• BIRTH NOTIFICATIONS
All lambs MUST be birth notified by the 31st May each year on the Sheep Ireland database. There is no charge for birth notifications. • REGISTRATIONS To register lamb’s, they MUST have been birth notified. The charge to register 2024 lambing season male / females (hogget’s) is €12 (born from December 1st 2023 to May 31st 2024) Lambs should be registered before the 31st May deadline, if they are not registered before this date they are classed as a late registration and will not be registered until after 30th September. Only registered male/females can be entered into Society sales. • ALL registration fees can only be paid via the Sheep Ireland portal at the time of requesting registrations • REPLACEMENT CERTIFICATES A replacement cert is €10. • IMPORT SHEEP To register an imported sheep or one that is not already registered on the Sheep Ireland database is €35. They can only be admitted to flock book with proof of pedigree • ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP €50 for Lamb Plus Members €70 Non-Lamb Plus Members • TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP Applies only to sheep registered with South of Ireland Hampshire Down No Charge to transfer into new flock but if a replacement certificate is required then a charge applies of €10 per animal |
